A geological gem of the Volgograd region The Alexandrovsky Graben, about two kilometers wide, preserves the geological history of the area spanning the last 50 million years. It is a unique geological section of a tectonic structure. The graben is located on the bank of the Volgograd Reservoir between the villages of Gornaya Proleyka and Gorny Balykley in the Dubovsky District.
