An exciting spectacle for horse racing enthusiasts The Pyatigorsk Hippodrome is one of the oldest in Russia, founded in 1885. Here, you can watch thoroughbred horse races with picturesque views of the mountains, as well as participate in the local betting. Races take place from May to October on Sundays.
