The oldest marble quarry in Russia The marble extracted here was used in the construction of St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals, the Marble Palace, and other famous buildings in St. Petersburg. The park offers eco-trails, observation decks, mountain hikes, and the opportunity to buy souvenirs made from shungite and marble. Tourists are transported to the ancient quarries on a 12-seat ferry across the lake.
