Chapel of St. Paraskeva Friday

About

A symbol of the city, depicted on the ten-ruble banknote. The site of this octagonal chapel in the ancient Russian style was once a pagan sanctuary, then the first Russian building in Krasnoyarsk — a watchtower, where Cossacks watched over the city and looked out for enemies. You can visit the chapel on your own or with a tour. Nearby is a park with beautiful walking paths and benches for rest. Free entry
