The longest staircase on the banks of the Volga. It’s best admired from below — or even better, from the water — to appreciate its grand scale and shape. Locals don’t use all 560 steps often, but tourists happily take on the challenge, enjoying some of Russia’s best sunsets along the way and arriving at the Lower Volga Embankment — a perfect place for a walk in any weather.
