These are traditional Dagestani pies. There are two types of chudu. One is a thin flatbread fried in a dry pan. The other is thicker and more like a stuffed pie. Fillings vary and may include potatoes, meat, tripe, cottage cheese, pumpkin, cheese, or herbs.
