The church has five domes, elegant semicircles, and a slender belfry.
Inside is an unusual iconostasis: mosaic images harmonize with the faces on the outer walls of the church, made in the same technique.
It was built with funds from parishioners and townspeople, costing the enormous sum of 70,000 silver rubles at the time.
