About
One of the region’s iconic landmarks. Also known as the “City of the Dead,” this site includes around 100 stone crypts built in the 14th–15th centuries. The architecture of these tombs is unique — they are shaped like towers with conical roofs, and each has its own story. Today, Dargavs is recognized as one of Ossetia’s most important historical and cultural monuments and is protected by the state.
