Friedland Gates

About

The Historical Museum is located in the Friedland Gates. The gates were built in 1862 as part of the city's Second Defensive Ring, and the first exhibition was held there in 2002. The museum's exhibitions tell the history of the city from the Teutonic Order in the 13th century to the first settlers in the Kaliningrad region after World War II.
