About
Local berries and herbs are widely used to make healing teas and infusions — a tradition rooted in ancient Sámi remedies for illness and protection from colds. One of the most valued blends is made from fermented fireweed, handpicked in the clean, wild areas of the Murmansk region. The herbs are twisted into rolls using a method similar to Chinese tea-making, to preserve their vitamins and beneficial elements. Cloudberries, lingonberries, cranberries, and even northern lichens are often added to enrich the flavor and health benefits.
