This building appeared in 1899 when the drawbridge was rebuilt. In 1938, the crossing was moved higher up the river, but the house remained in its original location. The building is made of red brick in the neo-Gothic style and has sharp, elegant turrets. Currently, it houses a museum of postcards fr om the 19th and 20th centuries, wh ere you can send a postcard to any part of the world. It is locally known as "Baron Munchausen's House."
