Hiking to Mount Bolshoye Sedlo

About

Take a short hike Prepare sneakers and Nordic walking poles, a small snack, and water. Mount Bolshoye Sedlo is the highest point of the Dzhinal Ridge, with an altitude of 1408 meters above sea level. The summit has a concave shape and resembles a saddle, which is why it’s called that.It takes a little more than two hours to hike from the Narzan Gallery to Bolshoye Sedlo. We recommend setting off early in the morning, around five o'clock. You will catch the sunrise on the way and see the two-headed peak of Elbrus: during the day, the mountain might be hidden by clouds. By lunchtime, you will return to the city. The road to the Bolshoye Sedlo goes through Maloe Sedlo. It is better to use a guide on this route. On the way between Bolshoye and Maloye Sedlo, there are two springs, which is very convenient: you can wash your face and replenish your drinking water supply.
