About
An architectural and park complex of Vladimir Khrapovitsky's estate A wealthy nobleman acquired the estate in the mid-19th century and immediately began reconstruction. Instead of the usual two-story house typical for rural Russia, a medieval-style castle was built, surrounded by a decorative dendropark with elements of French and English gardens. Today the estate is abandoned, the garden overgrown, and the main house gradually deteriorates. However, the ruins look picturesque and attract both organized and independent tourists.
