A warm mountain lake with a rare relict water nut The lake is a protected natural monument. Various bird species, including rare and endangered ones, nest around its shores. The lake is also home to unique plant species, including water caltrop (Trapa natans). In summer, visitors come here to swim and relax on the sandy beach. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a place for winter activities, while a nearby ski resort offers skiing and snowboarding on the slopes of Mount Malaya Sinyukha, with trails winding among snow-covered fir trees.
