One of Russia’s most renowned theatres. The Mariinsky is renowned for its classical opera and ballet productions. With a history spanning over two centuries, the theatre has hosted legendary performers such as Matilda Kshesinskaya, Feodor Chaliapin, and Osip Petrov. The building has survived fire, floods, and the Siege of Leningrad and remains an iconic symbol of Petersburg to this day.
