Medovye Waterfalls

About

Five waterfalls in the river valley According to legend, the name Medovye (“honey springs” in Russian) comes from wild bees that once lived on the rocks. Their honey dripped into the water, making it sweet, and the air around was filled with a honey aroma. Make sure to bring raincoats to protect yourself from the water splashes. The most stunning photos can be taken in spring and autumn when the waterfalls are especially powerful. We also recommend taking a walk around the area near the Honey Waterfalls — the places are surrounded by meadows and forests, offering many beautiful locations. Near the Honey Waterfalls, there is a tourist complex. It includes a hotel, café, and restaurant, as well as various activities for tourists: horse riding and an extreme park with a zip-line.
