Metallistov Street

About

The oldest pedestrian street in Tula.
In the 18th century, wealthy merchants lived here, and the street was adorned with lanterns at every entrance and expensive cobblestones — a true luxury at the time.
After the renovation in 2017-2018, the pedestrian zone became a museum quarter with restored historical buildings.
In the old mansions made of white stone and red brick, you’ll find museums, cafés, and hotels. The architecture on Metallistov Street is varied — from classicism to the neo-Russian style, so there are picturesque shots at every turn.
