Pokrovsky Gingerbread

One of the recognized gastronomic brands of the Vladimir region The gingerbread has a thick filling of boiled condensed milk with walnuts. A distinctive feature is the absence of eggs in the dough. Bakers generously add spices: cloves, ginger, and cardamom. Each gingerbread is shaped by hand, and the pattern is applied using a special carved wooden board.
