Prepodobenskaya Bell Tower

About

The Highest Point in Suzdal. This three-tiered bell tower in the classical style towers above the city on the grounds of the Rizopolozhensky Monastery — the oldest monastery in Suzdal and one of the few in the country reliably founded before the Mongol invasion. The bell tower was added to the architectural ensemble between 1815 and 1819. Travelers who are not afraid to climb to a height of 72 meters will be rewarded with peaceful views of the city and its surroundings.
