About
A charming art installation in a small green square. Here you’ll be greeted by a dozen golden cats and kittens on pedestals — a tribute to the legendary story of how Siberian cats helped save Leningrad from a rat infestation. After the blockade, rats flooded the city and even threatened valuable museum items at the Hermitage. To stop them, Tyumen sent an entire train car full of feline reinforcements.

Siberian Borscht
Local borscht differs from the classic version: instead of beets, it often includes sauerkraut, smoked meats, and various kinds of meat such as venison or quail.

Siberian Dumplings (Pelmeni)
Pelmeni here are made with various fillings — from classic beef to game, fish, and mushrooms. They’re served in broth, with sour cream, or melted butter.
