Space Telescope in Molokhoye Village

One of the largest telescopes in the world. Want unique shots? Head to Molokhoye, 12 km from Yevpatoria. Here, at the Deep Space Communication Center, you’ll find a giant radio telescope with a 70-meter mirror. Using the Yevpatoria radio telescope, the distance to Venus was measured, and several asteroids were closely examined. It was from here that the first message was sent into space, and it was here, under Yevpatoria, that a special testing ground for lunar rovers was located.
