About
One of Vladikavkaz’s architectural dominants. The mosque was built in 1908 in the medieval Cairo style. It impresses with its elegant design: the white stone façade is adorned with Oriental carvings, while the minarets rise above the city in harmony with the surrounding mountains. It is a symbol of multicultural Vladikavkaz, where Orthodox Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths live side by side.
