Suzdal Kremlin

About

A UNESCO World Heritage Site. The architectural ensemble of the Kremlin is an example of ancient Russian architecture and includes buildings from the 13th to 17th centuries. At the heart of the Kremlin stands the majestic Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin, decorated with ancient frescoes and icons. On the grounds, the remnants of the earthen ramparts that once protected Suzdal’s inhabitants from enemies are preserved.
