Tereshkova Street

One of the main streets of Akademgorodok, a famous science town At 12A Tereshkova Street, there are many places to grab a bite. Opposite the building, you can take a photo with the city sculpture “Walking Alone”, dedicated to a lovestruck graduate student — inspired by a song by Novosibirsk musicians, which became the unofficial anthem of Akademgorodok’s youth. Along Tereshkova Street, you’ll see a row of “academicians’ cottages” — two-story houses nestled among green trees. Nearby is the Central Siberian Geological Museum.
