The Ship Embankment is located in the heart of Vladivostok. Here, you should visit the "The Combat Glory of the Pacific Fleet" Memorial. It honors the residents of Primorye who heroically defended the country during the Great Patriotic War, as well as the contributions of the Pacific Fleet, the main base of which Vladivostok remains to this day. A 14-meter-high obelisk in the shape of a sail pointing upwards is dedicated to the founders of the city. It was installed on the 125th anniversary of Vladivostok, at the site where, in 1860, the first soldiers and non-commissioned officers of the ship "Manchzhur" disembarked.
