A mountain gem of the region. This picturesque valley stretches for 25 kilometers, surrounded by majestic mountains covered with dense coniferous forests. Here you’ll find fast-flowing mountain rivers and waterfalls. The highest point is Mount Uilpata, rising 4,646 meters above sea level and adorned with hanging glaciers. Deep within the gorge lies the ancient Ossetian sanctuary of Rekom, shrouded in mysteries and legends. Tsey can be explored on foot or on horseback through guided tours, and in winter it becomes a popular destination for skiers.
