About
On the banks of the Angara, you will find a rope park, skate park, volleyball court, many bike paths, outdoor exercise equipment, and an amphitheater. On Konny Island, you can ride the Kruzogor Ferris wheel, rising 50 m to enjoy the beauty of the Angara and the city. Its central location and record height for Eastern Siberia make this attraction the city’s best observation deck. On Yunost Island, children can ride the East Siberian Children's Railway through the picturesque park area of the two Angara islands — Yunost and Konny. The railway opened in 1939 and is one of the oldest children's railways in Russia. In recent years, a “quantorium” — an educational area with high-tech equipment — has also operated here.

“Lukomorye” Wooden Sculpture Park
For over 10 years, the International Festival of Wooden Sculptures from Angara pine has been held annually in the village of Savvateevka.

Monument to Alexander III
The monument to the emperor was laid in 1903 to commemorate the completion of the country’s main railway line — the Trans-Siberian Railway.
