Interactive Center “Russian Folk Fun Izba”
Where can you hold a real cast-iron pot, try on a sarafan and a kokoshnik, and carry buckets on a shoulder yoke? Right here, at the Russian Folk Fun Izba Interactive Center — a place that is “touching” in every sense of the word. It is unlike any other: open, tactile, and interactive, with no glass cases or display windows. And what does “touching” mean here? It means you are allowed to touch. To listen. To try things for yourself. The Izba presents exhibits that visitors can — and should — experience directly: hold them in their hands, examine antique household items up close, lie on traditional wooden sleeping platforms, make a birch-bark toy, and then enjoy a cup of fragrant tea from an antique samovar. Travel across the centuries and step into the real life of past generations. Like a time machine, the Izba transports you into the atmosphere of bygone centuries, where time seems to slow down and the air is filled with tradition and heartfelt warmth.

"Ivolga" Restaurant
A restaurant serving Russian Far Eastern cuisine Special attention is given to simple traditional recipes and local Far Eastern products: fresh live seafood, wild game, forest herbs, venison, and fish. Don’t forget to buy souvenirs. Gifts and souvenirs from Blagoveshchensk are not just magnets and postcards — they are items with character, carrying the scent of the taiga and the spirit of the Russian Far East. The most popular souvenirs are edible: a variety of Amur honey and wild plants, local cheese, sweets from the “Zeya” confectionery factory, and pine nuts. Blagoveshchensk vending machines also sell space-themed souvenirs. We especially recommend trying the iconic space food in tubes.
