Industrial Bank Building
One of the most beautiful buildings in the city. It was originally built in the Constructivist style in 1927 for a bank. Later, the building was raised from three to five storeys and neoclassical elements were added. The building now houses the Novosibirsk City Hall.

The House with Clock
This residential building was constructed between 1931 and 1934 in the Constructivist style. Entrances to the apartments are accessed via corridor-galleries. It was a new type of residential building — kitchens were not included in the original design. In keeping with Soviet ideas about the organisation of society, residents were expected to eat in a communal canteen. The building's defining feature is the clock in the corner tower. It is driven by a counterweight weighing 100 kilograms.

Novosibirsk Regional Government Building
Listed among the 800 best avant-garde buildings in the world. The building was constructed in 1933 in the Constructivist style. Its architectural centrepiece is the bay window — a semicircular projecting section. The building was constructed for the executive authorities. The right wing contained apartments for staff, with a separate stairwell; the building was also the first in the city to be fitted with lifts. It now houses the Government of the Novosibirsk Region.

The Hundred-Apartment House
The only building in Novosibirsk to be officially recognised as a world architectural masterpiece. Its design was awarded a gold medal and the Grand Prix at the International Exhibition of Art and Technology in Paris in 1937. The building was constructed that same year and was intended for civil servants. Despite its name, the building contains not 100 but 111 apartments. They were intended for government officials.
