Angara Icebreaker

About

Built in 1899, it is one of the oldest surviving icebreakers in the world. In 1900, the vessel arrived in Russia, where it was used to clear a path through the ice of Lake Baikal. In 1990, it was permanently moored at the Irkutsk Reservoir and turned into a museum dedicated to the history of navigation on Lake Baikal.
