About
A recognizable building in the neoclassical style. The eight-story palace-like building was constructed for the employees of the West Siberian Regional Executive Committee. It was a breakthrough in world architecture! In 1937, at the World Exhibition of Art and Technology in Paris, the project by architect Andrey Kryachkov received the Grand Prix diploma and a Gold Medal. In front of the building is a square named after its creator, where a monument to him is also located. Inside the building, you can visit the Siberian Memorial Art Gallery. Its main exhibit is the diorama painting “150th and 22nd Siberian Volunteer Guards Rifle Division.”
