Besshtyzhie Baths (Historic Open-Air Baths)

About

A cascade of 14 mineral springs on Mount Mashuk, known since the late 19th century. These free public baths have been popular among locals and tourists for centuries. The water temperature varies on each level of the cascade: it reaches 80℃ at the top and becomes cooler with each step down. The turquoise color and beneficial properties remain constant. Don’t be put off by the sulfuric smell, it’s a natural feature of the mineral-rich water.
