A resort town called the Russian Switzerland Zheleznovodsk is all about mountains, parks, landmarks, sanatoriums, and fresh air. Residential houses and industry are outside the resort area. Here you will see the Palace of the Bukharan Emir, the longest cascading staircase in southern Russia, the resort lake Tridtsatka with a beach, art objects, and a fishing zone, as well as several terrain courses and eco-trails.
