A picturesque location attracting nature lovers and climbers In ancient times, this was the seabed. In the 20th century, limestone and dolomites were mined here. After the quarry was closed, a pit 30-40 meters deep and 107 hectares in area remained. Over decades, a dense forest grew on the stone slabs. Now it is a protected natural area where climbers and alpinists train. From late May to the first week of June, during the flowering of several species of northern orchids, excursions are held. From May to September, tourists can take "Walks on the Bottom of the Ancient Sea."
