Gorny Vozdukh Ski Resort

The signature landmark of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk "Gorny Vozdukh" is the only ski resort in Russia located within a city. The Sakhalin resort operates year-round. There are more than two dozen ski slopes of varying difficulty levels, as well as gondola lifts and a drag lift. Equipment is available for rent. Cafes and restaurants are open throughout the season, and visitors can enjoy a tubing park and a mineral-water spring. In the summer season, you can take a walk along the equipped eco-trails. There are routes for beginners, experienced athletes and family walks with children. A panoramic view of the city opens from the mountain peaks. The ski resort is designed with inclusivity and accessibility in mind. There is a lift for visitors with limited mobility, a removable ramp for entering the cabin and wide doorways. The staff are trained to provide assistance whenever needed.
