A memorial to the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812 and the Great Patriotic War. Along the fortress wall lies a necropolis where those who gave their lives for the Fatherland are laid to rest. There are only two memorials of this kind in Russia; the other stands by the Kremlin Wall in Moscow.
