This is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Russia, home to larch and juniper trees planted over a century ago, as well as palms and other tropical species. The zoo hosts hippos, lions, chimpanzees, flamingos, marabous, crocodiles, and pythons — you can visit on your own or with a guide. The historical part of the zoo-botanical garden is closed during winter.
