About
Khoi is a restored historical settlement in the highlands, an open-air museum. The village is about 2,000 years old and was once home to guards who protected the border. The name in Chechen translates as "watch." Visitors are welcomed by restored residential and defensive towers, an ancient mosque, and a necropolis. Narrow stone paths form a real labyrinth, inviting exploration of traditional architectural details. From Khoi, there are picturesque views of mountains and valleys, complemented by historical reenactments and cultural events held occasionally in the village.
