A legendary mountain with breathtaking panoramic views. The legendary mountain that gave the city its name offers breathtaking views of the open-pit mine, the steelworks, and the vast steppe. Today, the site of one of the world’s largest iron ore deposits features an observation deck on the slope of Uzyanka Mountain, offering views of the heart of Magnitogorsk. From here, you can admire the picturesque landscapes of the Southern Urals and the impressive industrial scale of the steelworks. The observation deck is approximately 5–7 km from the center of Magnitogorsk.
