One of the best viewing platforms in the city Muravyovka is where the Zavolzhskaya part of Kostroma and the river are visible at a glance. The panorama opens to the domes of the Resurrection Church on Debra, green slopes, and the embankment stretching into the distance. On the mountain, there is a Heroes’ Alley with bronze busts of military commanders. Muravyovka is good for photos at any time of day, but it’s especially impressive in the evening when the streetlights’ reflections shimmer in the river.
