Volga River Cruises

About

See the city from the water It’s hard to imagine getting to know Kostroma without a cruise on the Volga. From Pier No. 2, “Moskva-52” riverboats depart — a half-hour journey along the river gives you a chance to see the city from a different angle. The boat passes the Ipatiev Monastery, the mouth of the Kostroma River, turns near the bridges, and slowly returns to the pier. From the deck, you can see the Ostrovsky gazebo, the domes of the Resurrection Church on Debra, and the spacious embankment.
