Museum-preserve “Kostroma Sloboda”

Open-air museum Here you can find examples of wooden architecture from the 16th–19th centuries. The museum displays houses with carved window frames, farm buildings, chapels, and wells from across the region. Wooden walkways lead through meadows and ponds. During holidays, songs are sung, costume festivities and fairs are held at the museum.
