The Museum of Grand Duchess. A rich collection of Russian folk culture is housed in the historical and ethnographic museum of Princess Maria Tenisheva — a representative of the Russian nobility, philanthropist, and public figure. The museum is filled with objects of decorative and applied arts, traditional Russian handicrafts, as well as everyday items and works of art from the Smolensk Governorate. Among them: manuscripts, royal charters, household items, costumes, furniture, embroidery, and antique tableware.
