Embark on an exciting journey through the jungle along the eco-trail. Samur National Park is the only area in Russia covered with broad-leaved liana forests. Among the relict trees of the Dagestani jungle live rare species of animals and birds: jungle cat, black stork, Indian porcupine, Mediterranean tortoise, and pink flamingo. To start your hike on the “Forest” trail, you need to register at the visitor center. The trail begins right next to it.
