Endangered animals in the city center Where else can you see a sea lion (also known as a sea lion) not behind zoo bars? In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, this is possible! The animals settle on rocks near the sea piers, not far from Nikolskaya Sopka. If you want to observe them up close, be cautious: do not feed or disturb the animals. You can approach the sea lions no closer than 30 meters on land and 100 meters from the water. Locals report that seals sometimes come here as well.
