One of the main streets in the historic center. Old mansions alternate with green alleys, colonnades, and sea views. Pre-revolutionary architecture blends with Stalinist Empire style, with buildings of the former treasury and medical school preserved. In the shade of cypress trees is the "Festival" concert hall, and a little further away is the snow-white Archangel Michael Cathedral.
