Sochi
Sochi is the main seaside resort of Russia. The history of this spa town began at the end of the 19th century when aristocrats came here to treat themselves with mineral waters and the sea air. During the Soviet era, Sochi actively built sanatoriums, boarding houses, and rest homes. Now, people visit Sochi year-round. In the summer — to sunbathe and swim in the sea. In the fall and spring — for hiking, gastronomic tours, and visits to wineries. In the winter — for skiing and snowboarding.
