Europe–Asia Border Marker

About

In Yekaterinburg runs the geographical, historical, and cultural border between two parts of the world — Europe and Asia. Look for the sign at the 17th km of the Novo-Moskovsky Tract. At the base of the obelisk are laid two symbolic stones: one from Cape Roca (the extreme point of Europe), the other from Cape Dezhnev (the edge of Asia). In the souvenir pavilion you can buy a “border violator” certificate.
